I couldn't in good faith recommend them to familyand friends. The 'hidden' fees with Spirit are absolutely crazy! No money saved! I was so disappointed in my experiences with Spirit Airline.
Having to set up separate accounts for myself and family is time consuming and completely unnecessary! When there was an issue with the tickets it was very difficult to get any real help from customer service. Their website is less than user friendly. There was no entertainment offered on my flights, which is fine as I can surely entertainment myself for 2 + hours. It goes a long way with passangers when you feel confident or at the very least acknowledged by the crew. The captains on each end were more interested in talking on their cell phones than by greeting passangers. The crew, not real friendly doing the bare minimum of what is required. Which leads me to your food and drink pricing, let's just say you don't even wear a mask when you rob your passangers! I would rather be thirsty and hungry than to pay the absurd amount of money you ask for. The tray tables are extremely small and couldn't imagine having to actually put food or drinks upon them. The fees to have a checked bag are ridiculous and the measurements required for carry on are substandard! The seat sizes are less than roomy and please know I am by most standards an average sized person weighing in at approximately 150lbs. Although your ticket prices are lower than most, I do like to travel with a piece of luggage or at the very least a reasonable sized carry on. This delay of almost 40 minutes caused me to miss my scheduled bus with a cranky infant."Ĭons: "I have traveled on several different airlines in my lifetime and wanted to give your airline a chance. As we began filling the forms the strollers came down the baggage claim without explanation of why no one could find them. We were asked to fill out lost luggage forms. She returned saying she didn't see them out back. Crew at baggage claim was notified and without letting us know what she was doing she walked away from the 4 sets of parents. 20 mins after all bags were claimed there were still no strollers. We were then told by ground crew there were no gate checked items ragged and the strollers were put on baggage carousel.
Upon arrival in BOS none of the 4 gate checked strollers were located and brought to the waiting parents. Gate check tag for stroller was attached and claim check received.

they should be fired."Ĭons: "Gate crew couldn't update gate board with flight delay details, then before even boarded our delayed flight the next flight booked at that gate was listed causing confusion. Flight attendants and gate agents will bankrupt the airline with their horrible attitude. I was informed by anAA employee they the connection is frequently missed due to similar problems. Cons: "The connection in Miami didn’t happen - the flights crew on the ORLANDO yo to Miami flight were rude and unhelpful - the plane sat in the tarmac waiting for a gate so flight arrived 15 minutes before planned departure - we inquired as to whether the plane would be held - response- despite having internet access was “ I don’t know “ you’ll have to check with gate agent - oh and by the way the flight attendant was virtually laying on the front seats - she as grossly obese and was so large as he walked the aisles she would hit passengers every time she turned around - we ran to the gate arriving 8 minutes before departure - gate was shut two gate agents were reading social media posts on their phones - we inquired about the flight - the gate agent said “ you missed the flight “ and then sat down and continued on her phone - the other one at least looked up and told us where to them go for assistance - eventually we were assisted and offferd 1 to wait u til the next day to go or to go through London - we took the London option.
